    How great is Wladimir Klitschko? He has been great for calling attention to professional boxing in eastern Europe.

    Boy, the Wlad-haters are out in force and openly revealing their bias
    and general idiocy in this thread. So angry that a eastern-euro fighter
    is spanking all their all-American boys in the ring and is so obviously classy
    and superior outside the squared circle. Wlad is an awesome boxer
    with great athletic talent, a terrific work ethic and a great resume so
    far in his burgeoning career.

    Brewster said he hadnt been able to spar in preparation because of the fear of injuring his eye. His trainer said after one uneventful round that he wouldnt let him get hit tonight. They walked to the ring with the demeaner of concession, not to win, all McGirts instructions he shouted out thrugh the fight were to cover up and protect the eye. Mentally he was as shot as Bruno was going into his second Tyson fight where ironically he was coming in from the same injury.
    Brock was a keep busy fight, undefeated but also unrated by anyone in the know, he presented no offensive danger which is why Manny took the fight, he just got beat by a bum recently too.

    I'm not sure if it is Eastern Euro thing anymore. Wlad is #1, and the haters agree. Their hate has shifted to ATG status.

    I beleive the Eastern Euro fighters have won something like 13 of their last 14 title heavyweight title bouts vs Americans.

    Immediately following the stoppage Brewster was asked if the eye was a factor & Lamon said "No" the eye was fine. He said Wlad was just the better man on that night.
