And despite all of that every single 100 metre and 200 metre olympic spinter in the olympics every single olympics is juiced to the eye balls. Every single world record breaker of the 100 metres sprint going back to when testing began in the late 1980s has failed tests, with the exception of Bolt. In Bolt's case no doubt in my mind he was on something given the speed he was consistently running at and how much he smashed world records by, of other sprinters who were also juiced up to the eyeballs. The fastest clean 100 metres world record is around 10.02 to 9.95 in my view. So running 9.58 and under 9.70 is clearly hot.
I’m completely aware of Armstrong’s failed test. You speculate about potential bribes. What about Chris Froome is he bribing too? Have a look at Chris Froome’s times and performances in previous years before he suddenly became one of the top cyclists in the world. Passing all the drug tests in one of the most rigorously tested sports there is. And Mo Farah. Do some research into his times improvements over the years. These guys somehow improve massively in athletic performance and break all sorts of records in sports where many of the former record holders end up failing tests. If you guys really don’t think it’s possible to beat tests then you are deluding yourselves. Guys like Victor Conte made careers out of helping athletes beat drug tests in sports that have more stringent testing than boxing. Joshua also does not get tested randomly 365 days a year. He is tested with high frequency during his training camps. Not when he is dossing away in his drug haven in Dubai in between fights and somehow building 15lbs of lean mass whilst recovering from a stress fracture in his back which happened before the Kevin Johnson fight. Keep deluding yourselves into believing that these doping controls are fool proof though. I’m beyond caring tbh. Just feel sorry for guys like Miller who get caught whilst trying to level the playing field.
That's not specualtion but a known fact which Armstrong confirms. He called it a donation to help improve testing, but considering what we know about him now, people look at that donation in a different light. I don't need to do any research on Farah ( or his coach Alberto Salaza) or Froome and Wiggins. Nor do I need to research the fact Bolt hadn't broken 10 secs for the 100m until the year of his world record at the Tokyo Olympics. Of the fact, of the nine runners in the Soul Olympics 100m final, eight have since been exposed as drugs cheats. Nor do I need to look up the fact Donovan Bailey was a part--time runner until 18 months before he broke the world record, an almost unbelievable rise to the top. I could go on. The further you go down that rabbit hole the more suspicious you get about all athletes. So, in light of the fact I love most sports, I employ a healthy skepticism but try stop short of becoming cynical. AJ has question marks against his name but no failed test. As much as I am aware of how prevalent PEDs are in sport, I'm not going to condemn anyone - even a boxer I don't much care for - on speculation alone. And no delusion here, I've done my research....
That’s exactly it. As a sports fan I view sports with the assumption that everyone is taking drugs. I just can’t stand the tomfoolery on this forum whenever a fighter fails a test.
Astonishing though it sounds, significant numbers of sportsmen and women are born to dope, and get away with it. The proportion ranges from around one in 10 of those with European ancestry to one in five with African heritage, and up to a staggering two-thirds of people in some Asian countries, notably Korea. These shocking statistics, largely unknown to followers of sport, go part of the way to explaining the vast difference between the numbers of elite athletes who are taking banned performance-enhancing drugs and the numbers being caught. The most common type of drug test globally analyses urine to compare levels of testosterone (T) and another hormone, epitestosterone (E) to give a T/E ratio. This test can signify the use of all kinds of illegal drugs, including anabolic agents, which are the most commonly found drugs in dopers, 50 per cent of positive drug tests being for steroids — or artificial testosterone. When the T/E ratio exceeds four to one, it signifies possible doping. But people who have the ‘doping with impunity’ gene variant — carriers have two copies of a particular version of a gene called UGT2B17 — do not return positive tests, even if they have been doping! The gene variant keeps the T/E level low, naturally. That means huge swathes of the population have a licence to dope. It is impossible to know how many athletes are doping but passing tests because they have the ‘impunity’ gene.
ive watched bits of his training on youtube,if he was taking peds it would be for endurance seeing as his static lifts in the gym are natty imo.
If his promotional and managerial outfit are as powerful as you claim then we'd never had heard a thing.
True, there are many examples of that. James Toney passed every test easily, but when he broke his contract with Don King got caught immediately. So, while AJ is with Hearns he has nothing to worry about.
