How high do you rate shawn porter?

I think he's strong for his weight class and has good work rate but not much else, he's like a less skilled tim bradley.

I think your ****ysis is a bit lacking. He actually does posses good speed, movement, but I think he lacks some of the finer points with his boxing skills. He comes forward a lot to win... I don't think that Thurman is as good as people think though, he is not kell brook. Kell Brook is bigger, faster, with better timing and general skills IMO.

I think people are underestimating Shawn a bit in this fight.

No way. I think Porter will have a little more luck than Guerrero against Thurman but not much more.

 

More like a black Provodnikov. Good chin, good workrate, decent power, poor distance control, basic defence, poor head movement etc

 

Hes a good fighter. Nice speed and pressure however he can be pot shotted and outboxed as he doesnt have the best feet and defence.

 

Relys a lot on physical attributes like strength, speed and stamina.

Not a bad fighter, but is definitely a bit crude at times.

 

Very good fighter, hopefully people will stop undderrating him after he beats Thurman.

 

A top level fighter with some very good attributes. If he stopped windmilling his punches in close and actually picked his shots he could be even better. I expect him to be around the top level for a while.

 

You gotta be physically stronger then him to beat him.I think he beats the **** outta thurman and makes him wish he wouldve died in the car wreck
