Those two were about the only exceptions (outside of Norris & Camacho, they were) next to Norris, Wilfred was standing still, feet always spread wide, little fire, the rest of the time waited for opponents to attack him on the ropes-not enough to beat Leonard, Hearns, Hamsho, or Moore Hearns had good speed (not like Terry's tho), didn't have Terry's dangerous counter hook that had Leonard intimidated, wasn't a strong 15 round fighter like Terry (or 12), not as versatile, tired way too fast, lacked Terry's all around defense, couldn't clinch, didn't have his movement Need I say more? You need to go back and review some Terry Norris fights, then you can get back to me once you've learned something
i watched him on youtube last night out of curiosity. He looked decent but too stiff, and would've been picked apart by the speed N power of El Terrible. You can't just walk in on the guy. Look what happened when Leonard tried it. He almost got killed like Curry
dont forget he fought meldrick taylor at a catch wt of 149lbs and destroyed him like a man could beat a child in 4 rounds, when taylor was still good and still champ.the same taylor that everybody on this site swears would mop the floor with hatton.
that was at the end of his career, when he was only a shadow of his former self.you mean keith mullings was the the original desert storm.
Vazquez put slick Winky Wright on the canvas 5 times in their fight. It's not a slick contest, it's a fight. As a someone who actually followed Norris during his career, it was no great secret that Joe & Co. wanted NOTHING to do with Vazquez.
