Lara blows? Yet Lara made easy work of Trout when Alvarez was lucky to get a close decision. Same Lara who punished PWill before being robbed, same Lara who was edging Vanes in an ugly fight.

Canelo stops Angulo? Are your referring to the same Canelo who couldn't stop Matthew Hatton, and needed a gift stoppage against Ryan Rhodes and Alfonso Gomez?

I'm really hyped for this fight. I think it's going to be a slug fest and I wouldn't expect anything less from two Mexicans. This isn't going to be a chess match with Canelo trying to box from distance. They are both going to go in there looking to inflict punishment. It's going to be great.

Yeah he was pretty flat in that fight. Every fighter has a bad performance from time to time.

Angola was hand picked for Canelo. He will go right after Canelo and walk straight into Canelo's power. Should be good while it lasts. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Canelo by ko.

Great thread, my thoughts as well. :good Angulo lost fights he could have won and won't surprise me if he won the rematches. Canelo tends to box more and his power isn't as relevant in his most important fights. Angulo with controlled, intelligent aggression can systematically break down Canelo, but Angulo does have his own stamina issues like in the Kirkland fight. Very heavy handed and has to pace himself much better and neutralize Canelos left hook, his favorite punch, tho Canelo does have a powerful right, but doesn't use it as much because he stays open. With Angulo, not a matter of speed because he knows he's no match for Canelo there, but timing and pressure. Angulo can do what Maidana did with Broner, but he has to have a defense as well.

I really like this fight. I think its competitive and has a lot of action. Alvarez should be the favorite but Angulo is live here. Alvarez by decision in a good fight.

Strong, not great, undercard and a very good main event. Despite having more of a Showtime feel and not a ppv feel to it, I think this is going to be the best card from top to bottom we'll get with the four ppvs coming up.

smh. angulo got chosen as an opponent because es slow as **** and he blocks punches with his face. hes garbage and going to get his ass beat. most of you have been down on Canelo for losing to Floyd. So what? he lost to the best in the game. The dog is a c class fighter and the levels in skill we'll be apparent in two hours. enjoy angulo get his ass whooped.

I actually agree that he's overrated but he's still a level or two better than Angulo. That's all that matters at the moment.
