Chris was very lucky to get the decision against Provo. Even old pac will be too much for this guy.

    PS,
I'll need them after Pac closes both my eyes by the 3rd round and takes me out.

This is obviously a thread for Juantards - the saddest posters on this forum. Even the floydettes know Pac is levels above this kid and are staying away:-(

confident isnt the right word to describe Algieri, Delusional is more suitable

This is going the distance. Algieri is very durable as he already proved and Pacquiao isn't the aggressive fighter he once was.

What do we expect him to write, "How I Will Accept Defeat to Pacquiao?" Of course he's confident. It'd be awkward if he wasn't.

Pac should win this fight, but if he doesn't then he should just call it quits.

Agreed. Pac is definitely the favorite and Algieri has only one solid win. But again, Algieri does have something to prove here and that can only help. But I don't see it happening. Pacquiao by KO early or wide UD.

Pac's diehards trying to hype Algieri up to make the fight more impressive if he wins.

It's still good to have an accomplished former world champ in multiple divisions helping out in the biggest fight of his career. Sparring to simply to help prepare for the real battle.....most sparring partners aren't as accomplished as Zab so it was a positive having the Brooklyn native in camp to help him prepare for Manny.

It would be.....but I wouldn't go betting the house on this outcome. It's extremely unlikely Algeri beats a guy on Pac's level. Algeri isn't scared and he is confident but it's not about that when the bell rings........there's levels to this sh*t.

He's durable.....but been knocked out before. PAC is a very sharp and explosive puncher so it might be one Chris doesn't see that earns Manny his first KO in years! Or......Manny just busts him up and gets a stoppage. A decision is also possible but I don't think Algeri is fully prepared for what awaits him in this major step up. I think he feels and believes he's ready but........Thinking, visualizing and believing is not the same as actually "being". I hope Chris surprises us.....gives a good showing and ups his stock, even if he ends up with his first loss. He's a really nice kid and a very good boxer....but I just don't see how he can pull this off. His height and reach are great but Manny's use to fighting guys with those advantages.

Well I have just watched 7 rounds of Algeri vs. Provodnikov and tgat was enough. The only round of the first 6 I gave Algeri was the second Provodnikov cleary won the rest and Algeri has the cheek to say he dominated it.

Algieri is an excellent fighter with good skills and technique. He's is confident in his skills but I think that he's underestimating Manny's boxing IQ. Ruslan and Manny are two totally different fighters and he will learn that in China.
