Kessler ain't winning ****. Just watched the Andrade fight In full for the 1st time Instead of clips and you could of made a case for Andrade winning 2 rounds In there. Kessler was constantly pushed back, hit with half assed shots and couldn't stop the limited pressure fighting of Andrade. The fight was more competitive than the cards suggested. Calzaghe can stop come foward pressure fighters throwing anything.
Cut him to ribbons from the outside, when Joe rushes in hit him with those straight linear shots, one two and move, Once Joe tastes the power he will not be rushing in with with all abandon to speed shot his way to victory. Joe C will not be rushing him ala Lacy. Nullify Joe's rushes and blast him from the outside, game over.......... utilize the Jab, straight one two and move........
Are you kidding, kessler boxed a perfect match against Andrade, he made no mistakes against an opponent that took his best shots while always coming forward. It was a clinic just like calzaghe-lacy(though I admit the stakes were way lower)
Calzaghe would of beaten Andrade with one hand. Calzaghe went toe to toe with Lacy and Lacy couldn't throw barely a thing. Kessler goes toe to toe with Andrade and has a bloody nose, holds and gets fustrated late on.
I guess you didn't actually see Kessler-Andrade.:nut You won't find any sensible boxingfans that will agree with you on that. Btw who wouldn't Calzaghe beat with one hand in your little fairytale world? He might need two hands against Klitschko perhaps?
:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl Kessler has NEVER been frustrated in the ring. He´s very patient and in the Andrade fight he just stepped up the pace at the end of the fight. Do some serious study on Kessler or you´ll just delude yourself.
Holds the same value to say Kessler never been troubled by speed. Therefore Calzaghe's speed won't matter much. Apart from that i think Kessler's patience and countering ability will be the deciding factors to Kessler's advantage. Calzaghe may get the better of Kessler for some time. But Kessler won't loose his cool. Ultimately He will adjust to Calzaghe and start connecting with increasing effect. Calzaghe is much more likely to be affected by Kessler's perseverence - and loose his cool. I can see Calzaghe getting frustrated and start taking chances shortly into the fight. Chances he's gotten away with against other opponents, who are a notch below Kessler. But this time - against a better opponent, it'll cost him.
Wow.... this is like reading the Barerra fans going on about how he was robbed against Pacman last weekend.
keep it long. lots of jabs. lots of right hands. try and spoil when joe comes close. that is one of my problems with kessler though. he's not very awkward and not much of a spoiler. therefore he'll give calzaghe the opportunities to work away clean and get into a rhythm. u need to spoil joe a lot like some fighters have done and then score with ya own from range.
