Since when does fighting at different locations determine who is better P4P? Mayweather fought exclusively in Vegas throughout his entire P4P reign. Floyd not stepping out of Vegas didn't stop him from becoming the P4P king now did it? So I don't know how that is relevant. That said, for what it's worth to you, Canelo hasn't fought only in Vegas. He fought in San Antonio, Houston, and Arlington, and next month he's fighting in NYC at MSG.
Yes it is. Pay attention to the exchange with KiwiMan to get a taste of what a real boxing discussion is all about. You just want to continue living in la la land and you clearly were trying to dumb down the topic with your jibberish. If you have something substantive and intelligent to add to this topic then step up and show us what you're made of. Otherwise you run along if you are too immature to engage in real boxing talk.
"Since when does fighting at different locations determine who is better" Obviously as its easier for ODH to fix-it dummy
How? No political favours No handpicked judges No drugs cheating No weight draining opponents No promotor who likes to stick kitchen utensils up his cùlo
Shadow111 still trying to convince himself that he's the rational guy and the other 20 people on the thread are wrong, WRONG, dammit, those haters!!!!!
Gassiev is basically the bigger version of Golovkin without the jab. Very strong physically, huge puncher, has granite chin, uses the same punches and combos as GGG does (which is no surprise considering they both are trained by Abel Sanchez). Yes, GGG has much better jab, but other than that they are similar in many areas. Yet Usyk completely dominated and won every round against Gassiev, while Canelo went life and death against aging GGG arguably losing both fights (I had GGG winning first fight 116-112 and Canelo winning the rematch 115-113).
Golovkin is a much better boxer than Gassiev. Gassiev seems to me to be your basic iron-tough brawler whereas Golovkin is a boxer that can punch. Of course, GGG's best years are behind him now whereas Gassiev might still improve. Usyk and Golovkin are both master boxers basing their game on their footwork. The difference is that Golovkin's approach is both more subtle and basic. He uses footwork to control distance and to both negate offense and to press the attack when he sees an opportunity. Usyk is more flashy (and admittedly more pleasing to watch) and while he also plays the distance game, he does that Ukrainian thing of turning the other fighter to open up their defence with is devastating when it works. Both are a pleasure to watch.
What's the point of a comment like this? You know it's complete BS. Try thinking before you post for a change. I'll make this real simple for you : I want to know what makes Usyk better than Canelo. I don't want to hear about judging conspiracies for the millionth time, I don't want to hear about stuff unrelated to comparing the two boxers skills. I mean just above your post we have a clown trying to tell me Usyk is better P4P because of the where Usyk's fight take place. The amount of nonsense in this thread while not unexpected given how many Canelo haters frequent this board is pretty cringeworthy, but it's been worth it for the few legitimate responses I've gotten.
Well not Lara but GGG might be. Only problem for you and some others is... Clenelo didn’t legitimately beat GGG. And his PED infraction puts an asterisk one his two fights with Gennady anyway. Usyk >>>>> Clenelo
And yet, you're the guy accusing people of having agendas while you are the only guy trying to swim upstream Footwork. Gas tank. Fluidity of movement. Higher workrate. ^ The above obviously adjusted for the relevant division weight. Better boxing brain. Southpaw. The quality of his wins are typically decisive and leave little to yes-but about. No PED question marks over his head. No judging question marks over his head. Have you heard of Sven Ottke? Undefeated. Would absolutely beat Canelo. Canelo would have nothing to complain about after losing a landslide UD to him in Germany. The amount of swimming upstream you have done in this thread has been hilarious because you don't seem to have noticed that you're about a mile downstream from where you started. But 'A' for effort.
