Yeah I wait for these opportunities let me tell you! showing off is like 80% of my motivation at the gym. If its empty my workout is only half as good. Is that what being an attention ***** really is? :good

**** it, the biggest reason I'm in training at the moment is because I want a nice, shirtless Summer.

Well you struggled calculating the 270lbs dip so this doesn't surprise me. My point was; if I call you a twat, please don't get upset :good

    Done it for you http://www.defrancostraining.com/ask_joe/archives/ask_joe_07-05-18.htm

    Max effort?! Heavy weights?! NOOOOO.

  6. I have found that using Bodyweight excersizes has helped me gain muscle faster than weight training , and also in using bodyweight excersizes i have not gained much fat whilst gaining muscle , Plyometrics have helped with explosive power in the legs and i feel stronger in the upperbody than i did when using weights. I guess different things work for different individuals...

Your attempt at upsetting me or whatever it was meant to do here was very poor.

I can guarantee a guy doing heavy squats would build more muscle faster than a guy doing bodyweight exercises.

Its a more realistic and honestly better goal than fighting. We all know for the most part a real championship level fighter is just a rare confluence of physical traits, most of them intanglible mental aspects. I know if a murderous puncher hits me with 8 oz gloves on the chin repeatedly I don't want anymore of it, its a rare instinct to like that sort of stuff. No sense even having a pro fight if you know you don't have the heart and will for it (I am talking about myself here). At a certain age amateur competition gets old, too. I don't know how the cubans have like 250 fights.

Looking good in the summer never hurt anybody, its a better goal than being a good fighter! I share it to some degree:good

Generally it seems shorter people with shorter limbs progress far quicker with bodyweight exercises, so their answer may lie in weights. For someone like me whose built like a rake, I can provide my body with more than enough of a leverage disadvantage to carry on making things hard for myself.
