It's £19.99 ($30) for HD over here in the UK. It'll do over 1 million buys here I'd imagine, Hatton/Mayweather is the record boxing PPV buys in the UK that did 1.4m buys but back then the PPV price was £14.99. All PPV were £14.99 here, until Froch/Groves2 and Bellew/Cleverly2 (lol at this being PPV) which were both £17.99.
Well if Canelo did 2.2 million, this one should surely do about 3 million. Not too concerned about that stuff though. The amount of people who watch it wont affect my enjoyment of it, one bit
I am going to say between 3.0 and 3.5 million. At $100 that is a monster number of 300 to 350 million in just PPV revenue.
What did Alvarez vs Mayweather and De La Hoya vs Mayweather do? 2.4? 2.5? Somewhere about that. Heck Lewis vs Tyson only did about 2 million. I don't think the maximum audience for a pay per view fight is more than 3 million. Everyone else will either stream, wait to watch a rerun, read about it, or doesn't care.
