How many decades will take for a better heavyweight than Usyk to appear

Going 7-0 at HW while facing three opponents twice is a tough task

Fury & Usyk were once in a decade fighters, assuming every decade should have atleast one ATG special tier fighter in a division. Wlad was weaksauce for his decade and era...then we got two hot sexy fightersi n Usyk and Fury but sadly they met a tad too late...but not too late that they couldn't be appreiceted.

We will wait atleast till 2030 to find someone to rank so highly.

 

Usyk maybe, Fury, hell no. We've seen tall underachievers already a few times. Nothing special there.

 

Fury underachieved but he still set a physical precedent in HW boxing, Usyk did also.

I suspect we'll be back to big useless lumps again soon enough, we'll see how Ituama's chin tests.

 

I don't think Uysk is a top 5 heavyweight not enough fights. After that it gets tricky.

 

Where's the next decade option?
I mean, the guy is great and all, but he does have some serious physical shortcomings for the weight.

Surely someone bigger can be almost as athletic as him and with a much bigger punch.

 

You keep trying to lump Usyk and Fury together ever since that middleweight embarrassed your guy.

Fury set nothing. And he's already the useless lump in the division. Just a name at this point. Might as well be the HW Tank davis....

 

I was unable to pick one of the options in the poll because as good as Usyk is and without doubt the best of this era clearly,his lack of depth as a Heavyweight does affect his overall standing imo and how good he actually is.The greatest of Heavyweights fought multiple different fighters over decades and we all argue incessantly on here who the actual greatest Heavyweights are with all the mythical H2H fights ,ATG standings,how fights would have played out,what era they fought in,how many rounds etc etc.But like I mention as good as Usyk is in this era he has only been a Heavyweight for 6 years and only fought 5 different Heavyweight fighters so far in his whole career ! People rating Usyk as the best Heavyweight in Boxing History having only fought 5 different Heavyweight fighters is streching it imho .

I don't believe there will ever be anyone better than Usyk, he is unique.
