Joltin Jeff Chandler was not KD'd untill his final fight. nearly a year after being diagnosed with cataracts and advised not to fight again...barring that poor decision he would fit in here.
I think 3 times. Zovek Barajas in their first fight, which was a draw. The 1st round of the 1st Armando Muniz fight and of course the 10 rounder against Roberto Duran. Scartissue
Thinking of all the great jaws in boxing and who was neither stopped or dropped is a bit daunting. Chuvalo was never dropped but was stopped twice by Frazier and Foreman. Henry Clark was never dropped but was stopped on his feet by Liston, Norton and Shavers. Kid Gavilan was never stopped but was dropped twice in his career by Ike Williams and Basilio. Likewise Ismael Laguna. Never stopped but dropped several times in his career. It is hard to nail down both aspects here as one can see. BTW, LaMotta was dropped and stopped by Danny Nardico if anyone is interested. There were a couple of lightweights in the late 60s and early 70s who amazed me by the name of Felipe Torres and Raul Montoya. Both of them pure rock jaws. However, a bit of research yields that, although they fought anyone and everyone, Torres got dropped twice (never stopped) by Sho Saiyjo and curiously against Montoya. And Montoya was dropped once and was retired on his stool in the same fight by Dwight Hawkins. I haven't done much research on Billy Graham. He may have the goods, neither dropped or stopped. I'm not sure of the validity of it considering the source, but in his later years, Battling Battalino claimed he knocked Panama Al down during their meeting in 1929; "Then after that they matched me with the Bantamweight Champion of the World, Al Brown, a big six-footer. Like Mutt n' Jeff, him and I. They had to guarantee him five thousand dollars to come here. That night he got five thousand dollars, I got forty-two hundred, and I went out there and, bing, I had him on the floor and I beat him. Nice one Scartissue. Camacho...never dropped? Yeah I guess he fits in, who would have thought? Although detractors of Camacho would point out that that may be because he ran away from a lot of his opponents. but so what I guess?
