i think im gonna leave it till feb myself, sky is the home of boxing in december, will watch cotto at a mates house and not really fussed with the degale card. will probably watch illegally online.

January is never good for boxing so i will probably subscribe in feb, if it last that long

Going to watch Cotto/Margarito at a mates house and Sky's December boxing schedule wipes the floor with boxnations so i'll be waiting.

I will be signing up, but January and February are normally shite for boxing so it will be end of February start of March when i do.

That pretty much the state of things which forced his hand. We know Frank ****** liked to have big PPV cards for the bank balance. if he can get the content of this channel right he's gonna have more income long term.

The result though is, we're gonna get TV coverage of alot more UK boxing cards which where never televised before and many more international cards sky and premier sport weren't going to pick up anyway. Which is why I'm in.
If your not a huge boxing fan, and your only after the big events like Frank ******s former PPV's main events it's going to cost alot more. especially with the 6 month contract.

Gotta say Box nation appears to be aimed squarely at the hardcore boxing fan, with the lack of advertising I donno how many others are meant to know about it including some hardcore boxing fans.

I really hope they don't delay HD channel plans too long and don't do it half assed like the SD channel. They are capturing everything in HD at the moment ready but it doesn't show through there SD channel like it used to when sky where toying with HD even the SD looked better for it . Currently the Box Nation picture looks like it's been encoded 3 or 4 times with some unprofessional low bandwidth feed and far to aggressively low pass detail filtered. Sky really do spoil us of the HD picture quality front.

    It wouldn't surprise me.

Frank made a big loss last year with the Sky PPV shows, something had to change.
