    i think pac vs marquez 3 might do it. cotto vs margo 2 for sure. pac vs mayweather, pac vs hatton, mayweather vs margo, mayweather vs cotto, hatton vs DLH, Vitali vs Wald lol

    I think thats it right now, but thats not a bad list(aside from lewis-klitschko) and there are definitely more fighters who are building themselves up to this status. Berto, for one will soon be fighting top fighters and may be joining the elite.

    Agreed. Anyways for the sake of discussion you could probably couple 400 thou buys if you put Cotto against Hatton, Pac against Hatton, Floyd against Hatton, Cotto against Pac, JMM against Floyd, JMM against Pac III, Hatton against Floyd II or any sort of combination of those guys.

    I wouldn't hedge my bets on Margo drawing until I see how he does as the headline act against SSM.

    I hate to say it but if you think anything but odlh vs anyone, mayweather vs anyone, pac vs hatton, pac vs mayweather, or cotto vs marg 2, will do 400k you are WRONG....And im stretching when i say mayweather vs anyone and cotto vs marg 2.

    Fact is, do your friends who dont know jack about boxing know who cotto margarito or marquez are?....NEITHER...

    Sad but true


    edit: To get buys HBO needs to put out some free boxing...Yes...Bite the bullet for 2 years, get some good boxers recognized and then after a few freebies THEN push a ppv.

    Cotto-Margo 1 did anywhere from 475-500K. Marquez-Pac II did 450K.

    There's no reason to believe the final fight in the trilogy wouldn't do at least 450K especially with Pac having much more exposure ala the DLH fight.
