The same credit for someone like Pavlik fighting Hatton, Kessler fighting Forrest, Klitschko fighting Hopkins. JMM clearly doesn't belong anywhere heavier than 135, in fact, it's only his excellent skill level that makes him competitive at lightweight, he's already pushing the phyisical limit there, as you could see it when Diaz pushed him around. Floyd is a **** if he fights a much smaller, weaker, older top fighter instead of fighting a top fighter in his own weight class, even if it's not a P4P-er, someone like Cotto, Clottey, Berto or Quintana, if he needs a 'tune-up'. JMM? give me a ****ing break. Yeah Marquez called him out. Just like any elite fighter from 140 to 160, how original of him coming back against a career featherweight.

damn you exagerated..him and floyd arent that far apart in weight..floyd was a very small welterweight then you say he should fight clottey..who'd be 30 pounds bigger than floyd on fight night...i get it ..floyd always has to be the smaller man right

ricardo lopez was pund for pound # 2 in the world at one point at 105 pounds

just because mayweather would beat # 2 p4p it means **** if he is naturally 3 to 4 divisions smaller.... what dont u get about that?

He's supposed to win this without TOO much trouble. I expect Marquez to lose, but lose with his best competitive effort that will just not be enough for Mayweather.

So Mayweather gets the win against a very good name and boxer, but again its just something we all know isn't a serious challenge to beat him.

A bit like marquez has now out grown 126 then yeah, lets be honest mayweather had no business going anywhere near 147, he was at his best at 130 and has never been as good a fighter since he left there, he should never have sent higher than 140, he is bigger than marquez but not by as much as some make out, people forget that mayweather was never a natural 147 or close to it. I wil be disappointed with floyd if takes this fight at 147, i pretty certain he can make 140 even after his lay off, its got to happen there

    look dumb ass

49 of his 54 pro fights at FEATHERWEIGHT

he fought 4 fights at 130

    1 fight at 135

overall hes bascially a featherweight....floyd fought DLH at 154

so if you just want to do 135 vs 154

    135
    140
    147
    154

    thats 3 right there

    and thats being generous

    :patsch

Bollocks marquez had way more than 5 fights above feather, i'm to lazy to be bothered looking at boxrec but i'll guarentee that at least 5 others if not more of his fights he weighed over the 126 limit
