Someone mate correct me but I am sure Eddie Hearn has said in an IFL interview £50k per day before.

He does the presser, weigh in and fight. So 150k...

He said it sort of off the cuff... but always thought that sounds about right.

He was contracting but maybe he may just like the consistent work going full time with Matchroom/Dazn

This .. He doesnt have 10% of Buffers charisma neither. Buffer is past prime but I still rate him as the nr1 and goat.

He's made **** ups in Klitschko Fury fights, AJ Klitschko, and Bellew Haye. That's just from what I've seen. All pretty recent, if personally like to see him retire.

Buffer is a multi-millionaire who loves to travel and the sport of boxing. He even announced Szpilka vs. Guinn. I would do the same, if I get paid first class tickets and fancy hotels, as well as being able to watch fights live from the best seats. He does not do it for the money anymore.

    Must be true then!

You obviously don’t understand business / money if you think he gets 10k a fight

    Sounds reasonable

Much more realistic than 10k a fight Patter983 suggested!

Isn't he about 75 now? No surprise he would take a lighter work load working for Hearn is probably just easier for him at his age.

Let's be real you ask 100 people to name a boxing master of ceremonies and there either gonna say Michael buffer or that dude who says 'let's get ready to rumble'.

I agree whatever he paid the shoty Buffer was too much, if you want a legend who can still do the job close to his prime you go with Jimmy Lennon Jr. Not the slipping Buffer, with his frequent bumbles and stumbles.

He gets between 15k-30k a fight card, but yeah, probably a bit more if hes there helping out in the promotion during fight week.

jimmy sr has appeared in 75 films, several classics. he was the class in the ring both in boxing and wrestling for most of the golden age of both sports. he was the first to wear a tux as standard in the ring. buffer is ringo to this lennon.

Honestly the anti Eddie brigade are resorting to putting down the ring announcer he gets...

It was just sad when a few here got so riled up over a promoter well promoting, now I can't even describe what feeling I get over this... Bemused?? Worried??
