How much do Refs get paid?

    30 mill taxed then split between promoters training camp n paying everyone. He probably didn't see a third of what he earned, I believe he had to sell his house because he couldn't afford the 40k a month bills for it. It's the classic case, take a guy give him millions and he lives like a millionaire. He stops earning his millions but he still lives like a millionaire, he's got a million dollar mortgage, half million dollar car payments, child support is based off his million dollar life style and the money runs out quick.

    A couple grand at absolute maximum. But its for one nights work

    I know refs who are well enough known and respected to work many times a month, though. They are quite well off.

    No wonder. It's not hard to buy a guy off that is making less than $1K a gig.

    Not really - it's not enough money to be a full-time ref, and because you need to keep days open, you can't take a job that would require you to work weekends.

    holy got paid 35 mill, AND 30 mill!

    well, no wonder tyson bit his ear off in the fight. he found out holyfield got paid all the money. LOL
