Not much they may top out in the threes maybe low fours. They are in great shape but they aren't built like benchers. They are at a mechanical disadvantage. Given their muscle mass I would say most likely high threes and that is extreamly powerful for someone with such length.
Nah, those formulas are bassed on averages and really blow up at the extremes, both in weight and body build. I remember when I would warm up with 275. At that time I still couldn't hit 400. This content is protected
According to CHEF Wlad bench with weird 275lbs 20 reps 3 sets program. What do you think of that kind of bench press routine?
Personally I would never benchpress it will screw up your joints of your bones which is a known and very common issue with power lifters. There are far better ways to gain strength so the fact Wlad isn't pressing as much as Rahman or Haye just means he cares about his body that much more. Besides I'm sure if he wanted to he could lift alot more; benching 275 x20 is just as hard as benching 400+ x1 and better for muscle development.
A few years ago, before I blew out my rotator cuff, we had a guy who had played college ball workout at the same gym. One day we were maxing, with most of us in the 220's. I had just finished maxing out two reps with 225 when he walked up and said "watch". He proceeded to do 50 reps with 225. He was a former running back for a division II school who had blown out his knee in a game. He will never play ball again and walks with a limp, but his power is phenomenal. So if this guy, who I saw do 50 reps with 225 can do that, I can picture Wlad doing what Chef says easily.
I guess you missed the "there is no point doing 275 x20 x3 as a lifting routine" part. If he can lift 275 lbs 60 times he should do his program with less lifts and much higher weights
probably not that much all things considered. They don't need it not to mention they don't have the natural body type to have a big bench.
actually wlad has a very good body for bench.he has wide shoulders and his arms are not long for his height.his big reach is mostly because of his wide shoulders. but man rahman benching 545x3:shock::shock:i guess he would have a better carrer in powerlifting than boxing
Your running back was probably about 6 foot like most running backs and built like a bencher. Wald is 6'6" and long, his bench is limited by his body type. That doesn't mean he isnt strong, he is probably freakishly strong but his bench press is limited by body mechanics.
