Should be a great fight, and this is one of the most even match-ups we've seen in a PPV fight in a while. With that said, it's not a fight that most boxing fans feel like they can't miss. I'd love to see the fight, but will opt to wait and catch the replay instead of paying. Will this even break 200,000 buys?

I think id be surprised if it does 150...

I saw Crawford talking about this last week...basically talking about the criticism of this being ppv....he said something like "this is an even fight...the type boxing fans should actually pay for"...I see his point....but it will prob be lost

This is a great fight, between two young very good fighters. But they ****ed this fight and the fighters exposure they would have gained by putting it in regular cable TV. Makes absolutely no sense, no one outside of boxing junkies follow these guys. Bad move, and i wanna see this fight bad. But it ain't selling ****. 1-150k

I hate the attitude of its an even fight it should be ppv

Why not have more even fights regularly and save ppv for super fights

ideally....but I think there are some financial issues....especially with hbos budget shrinking...where something like this puts less burden on them

but the point in general is this is a really good fight....real good on paper...and if its on ppv its the kind that should be supported by the diehards

I actually agree with Crawford, and have no problem with this being a PPV. With that said, it is only worth what people are willing to pay, and I just can't see people buying it. Sort of an unfair reality and product of being fed a select few as ppv starts for the last couple decades. You might be right about this not breaking 150.

This is a ppv fight. It's one of my dream fights, the type I didn't think would actually come off.

Can someone school me on some money issues. Bob said HBO didn't have room in they're budget for this fight, that's why it went to ppv. What would happen if this fight went to UniMas or truTV? Purses too big or what? GGG ppv only did 150k and he is more known than Crawford, so it seems like Bob is losing money either way.

    ESB accountants, Attack!

For the record, I would pay for this fight, but luckily I get it for free on my Mexican satellite.
