Jones was nowhere ever near the popularity of Tyson, Oscar nor Pacquiao.

10-91 - Michael Watson isn't even conscious, let alone an active fighter

I'm going by the fighters who fought in that year - not the exact month.

Sibbo of course. Sibbo had more success against Hagler than Lee.

Even if what you says is true, it doesn't mean they wouldn't of picked up McCallum-Eubank.

Is that the same Sibson that Hagler methodically broke down and stopped in eight? Hagler was always in control of that fight

    Dude, seriously, give it up.

They didn't pick McCallum-Eubank, and Eubank-Stretch was huge news with a Who's Who of British celebs ringside.

Styles make fight. And I hope you are not trying to imply that Lee was somehow better than Hagler.

That was Collins 17 pro fight. He was still working as an electrican when he took that fight
    Hell no
Collins held his own against McCallum and banked a lot of the later rounds - while Watson got schooled and stopped.
Collins would then go on to beat Eubank twice
    Collins>>>Watson
Collins won both of those fight- he clearly outworked Eubank in both fights

Thornton was a journeyman who worked as a post man during the day.

Rocchigiani never beat anyone worth mentioning at smw. His claim to fame would come at lhw where he would beat a clowning Michael Nunn around 98

Lindell Holmes was at the end of his career, around 35 years old and would go 1-3 in his last 4 fights

Wharton never beat anyone worth mentioning

Because Eubank says somthing that make it true? How about a quote from McCallum or better yet a neutral insider talking about Eubank-McCallum?

I see you forgot to mention this:
Your using a Google message group as a reliable source? Thats equivalent to me quoting from this esb forum
