most dangerous is getting KOed and the head smashing on the ground, worst than nay punch

You can still get KOed bad in amateur boxing but the chance of serious injury is far less

hahahahahaha did you know less people are hurt in american football than soccer. According to studies, soccer is the MOST dangerous sport. TONZ of torn legiments and people just straight up dropping dead on the field

According to Kostya Tszyu, studies show that long-time soccer players have more head injuries then boxers due to headbutting(the ball, that is).

amateur boxing is very safe, if you get hit hard you get an 8 count, if you get cut the figth is over, these are the reason why i left amateur boxing, because of the bull**** scoring and i lost a fight due to a cut caused by a headbut under the chin. Now fight muay thai, i like it much better. If you are out classed in amateur boxing and taking to many shots they will stop the fight. It is very safe

If you're worried about the feeling of being punched, then I doubt boxing is the right sport for you.

I have seen fighters get knocked stupid in the ams even when we have headgear and larger gloves than pros. It's not as dangerous as professional boxing, but you can be hurt easily.

There is no "safe" getting punched in the head. Period.

The only thing you can do is work on your skill set to avoid it.
