How tall was Mike Tyson?

Was? He's still alive. And he's a good inch and a half to two inches shy of six feet, same as ever.

 

Im 5 foot 8 and a half inches tall, not very tall at all, but then I weigh around 175lbs.

I met Mike Tyson in Merthyr Tydfil near Cardiff in Wales and he wasn't even two inches taller than me, just no way, I was less than a foot away from him, so take it from someone who knows...

 

When Mike was last at Gleasons Gym, he told me he was 5ft 10 1/2 inch tall.

Guess he used to fight on stilettos..
All boxing shoes I've had only add 1/4 of an inch if that. Boxing shoes are like socks. Thick socks.

 

They said he was an inch taller than Ray Leonard

 

One inch taller than Rocky Marciano.

 

I'm pretty sure he was 6'3 give or take an inch. :/

 

I read that ray leonard is really 5'9 but after the Olympics he wanted his promoters to add an inch to 5'10 because he was insecure and thought more people would watch a 5'10 fighter for some reason.

Hagler was barely 5'8, roberto duran solid 5'7. Hearns lank ass 6'1+

 

My previous coach met Tyson several times, says he's 5'9-5'10.
