How Tarver defeated Roy Jones

    And I would pick Roy too, but it would be no cakewalk.

    What I wouldn’t do is pick Eddie Davis to beat him or Qawi to knock him cold in two rounds.

    Tarver lost to Johnson right after the Roy fight and then proceeded to get beat up by Hopkins.

    The one punch KO win over faded Jones and his close lose against Jones are his best fights. Again, over a faded Jones.

    In time he won’t be remembered at all. Jones himself even in his prime has a hard time with most elite all-time greats at his prime weights...so why should Tarver be any different as a lesser fighter? He is lucky that Roy even fought him a second time.

    Walcott was far more skilled than Johnson and better than Tarver P4P.
