Depends. If Parker realizes he needs to be aggressive to win, I think he can and ought to win the fight by coming in and trying to destroy Hughie. Parker's defense needs work but Hughie doesn't really have a lot of power to exploit it. On the other hand, if JP fights of the back foot he'll get outboxed comfortably by Hughie's reach and skills. That would be very frustrating for his fans.

I don't actually rate Hughie very highly, maybe it's the medical problems, but he hasn't looked good for a while. To me he looked like he might have been in trouble against Fred Kassi had it gone 12 rounds, he was getting hit quite a lot in the last few rounds. So I'm picking Parker, but it obviously could go either way.

 

The evidence I have is the fact Fury failed to supply evidence it was a genuine mental illness for the period of time in question by the boards. The fact he was asked on multiple occasions and failed to comply means it can be viewed as never having happened at all.

Fair enough, I do think Hughie needs to get active but there's no denying his boxing ability. Parker's advantages are his been in with the better guys, his management have matched him well but on the downside he seems to scrape every step up. The types of guys that beat Hughie will be need to be strong powerful heavyweight who can bang e.g. Joshua, Haye, Vlad and deontay.

Parker is not sudden enough or great at fighting on the inside, not to mention he's an average puncher for heavyweight standards.

The mention of his fight with depression isn't a recent thing. You can go back at least 4 years to find old interviews with him being open about it.

It's only really viewed as 'never having happened' by people who interpret it as evidence to back up their existing views.

 

I have never stated he has never suffered in the past. I stated he concocted his current health issues to avoid his ban getting in the p.d and fulfill his desired narrative. A big difference.
