Oh ****.. You was there too! That was my first Cotto fight live... I actually caught the train from Philly just to see it. Sat in the last row at Board Walk Hall... Tough times. Boy have things turned around since then... :hey

That second round is an absolute classic. It feels like it lasted for closer to five minutes.

Torres tired himself out trying to finish Cotto ... and the fact that he had taken the fight on a few weeks notice and Cotto was already in shape for a fight but his opponent had pulled out.

I'm sure If Torres was in better shape he wouldve knocked Cotto out or atleast took it to the decision.

Yeah Torres fought previously before that fight but that was like a 1st round KO against a bum w/ 11 L's ...

Damn right. I called that fight also. Everyone kept saying "Why is Cotto taking on that bum?" I said that Cotto better watch out in the early rounds or he would get KOed. Torres is no joke and I was hyping him before the fight. Fight was amazing. You had 2 young, undefeated power punchers. Great fight.

Wow, what a round. Cotto is a warrior. He doesn't have the best chin but has amazing recovery and heart... just like another top rank fighter.

Hmmm people seem to forget Torres just came of a fight a month prior and was one of Cotto's main sparring partners.....ill-prepared....I don't think so.

At 147 Cotto takes a better punch ..This fight was a war ..Torres is one tough sob ..Who wouldn't of wanted to see another fight between these 2 just based on the fireworks .

The first post in this thread states that Cotto has a 'granite chin'

Thats the reason i come to this shitehole, people are so thick in general

A granite chin is Chuvalo, Hagler, LaMotto, Barerra, McCullough etc

Cotto a granite chin, gime a ****in break and a cuppa tea with it!

Now il retire to the lounge after reading one post from here:good

If it was margarito in round 2, at 147 pounds, Cotto would've been doing just fine.

Those low blows were obviously un-intentional; It was shown in the replays how Cotto was going for a body shot and Judah jumped up. Cotto didn't actually throw low blows in this fight, he got penalized for landing on the belt line which can be considered a low blow.

Margarito vacated the IBF title and Clottey and Judah are fighting for the vacant IBF title on August 2nd... Also Andre Berto has the WBC belt, Him and Miguel Angel Rodriguez fought for the vacant belt on June 21st and Berto won by TKO 7th round.

Theres some excersizes that can strenghten your jaw muscles but other than that only real way to improve your chin is to take punches.
