Cintron planted his feet and hit Margo with some heavy **** and Margo took it well, those shots Cotto were throwing were not heavy shots, which is why Margo and SSM walked through them all night.
Margarito is an accumulation guy to some extent, although he does have a way of blitzing opponents that are more vulnerable with very few well place punches. Margarito can take an opponent out with a 2 or 3 punch combination with tremendous ease and has done so with great regularity over the years. He's not a one punch KO artist though, persay. Why? Is this a competition between Cotto and Margarito? If so, Margarito wins. Again.
Those punches were hard. I don't care what anyone says. They aren't the hardest in teh weight class but they when you eat shots like that for mutiple rnds it hurts. Margo is just a freak of nature.
If you'll notice, Margarito always has his opponents going backwards thus not generating as much power as they could coming forward, even still the man probably has the hardest head in boxing next to Librado Andrade.
Cotto did not get his weight into those punches like he usually does, watch Judah and Clottey , Zab was was getting his weight behind his punches, even though they weren't landing, Clottey still backed up.
Look at the very first clip. Margo is swinging that upercut with all his weight. Cotto throws a sharp crisp punch but between the two shots, Margo will hurt you more.
Cotto is going backwards while punching in the first gif. Taking away half of the snap. He went backwards too much and fought too scared. He should of least stepped into his punches.
wrong man. 99% of fighters would not even be able to finish throwing that punch. Margo's momentum was ****ed in there. Its incredible that he even kept his punch going. Btw short punches in between two shots are the ones that knock people the %$# out! Margo took one and didn't even flinch
