Sugar Ray Leonard is a better fighter than Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather in both head to head match ups and in an all-time, pound for pound sense as well. His resume speaks volumes that can be heard much louder than either Money's or Pacman's. End of thread.

 

Leonard was the biggest instigator of cherry picking ever,he gave birth to what floyd is doing now yet it doesnt get a mention.pac fights anyone,always has and has never ducked a challenge,leonard ducked hearns for years

 

He isn't in my top 10 but he is way higher than Floyd or Manny.

 

Like Margarito?, Ray Leonard was a ****ing ridiculous fighter the way he came back and made Duran quit just by being that damn good of a boxer. Id put my house that H2h against Pac he'd ruin him.

Leonard had a tremendous chin and heart foe such a stylish fighter.

plus his wind up uppercut is without doubt the coolest punch in boxing.

 

Leonard beats pac h2h agreed,but pac would take the fight and have a go.plus leonard ended his career at lh bit of a size advantage when pac has fought his way from 122 lb to where he is still kicking arse today

When Leonard beat Hearns, only 2 belts out there...each had 1. when leonard jumped to 160, there was only 1 champ...HAGLER

Mosley is a cheater who took the same peds that bonds, marion jones, and all those other track stars. Mosler should be treated the same way margo is treated. The worst thing he wasn't allowed to use his peds with floyd and still managed to hurt floyd.

Thats why I said he fought the top guy in each division rather than champ.pac has constantly seeked out the best opposition,look at his last 10 fights ffs

leoanrd doesnt have many great names on his resume like pac and floyd do but he had the speed, skills and power to make up for it, he was in some ways the welterweight Calzaghe.

You only have to watch his fights with Hearns, Hagler and Duran to see what the fuss is about. thats why he is one of my favourite fighters of all time ( i scored Hagler-Leonard 116-112 for sugar )

Although the only problems i had with him is that he did cherry pick a little bit and how the hell did the WBC allow him to fight for the vacant supermiddleweight title and the lightheavyweight title at supermiddleweight on the same night?

 

Lol, I forgot Madman was the guy who constantly thinks todays fighters are better than the ones form days past. Pac and PBF are my favourite fighters right now. Neither of them hold a candle to anyone of the guys in the Fab 4 (SRL, Duran, Hearns and Haglar), Improvement in sports is not a steady climb upwards . . . boxing in many ways have been in a decline over the past decade!
