Floyd Mayweather is the best defense you've seen?

Did you start watching boxing after you seen an HBO 24/7>>?

Angelo Dundee never boxed , as well a lot of other trainers. Putting on boxing gloves doesn't make you an expert , other wise charlie zelenoff would be one of the smartest guys around here. But I got a pair of boxing gloves and handwraps sitting in my closet.

does willie pepp has floyds speed and reflex? No he has not!

is pepp or whitacker as athletic as mayweather? No!

floyds gets barely punched, I think pepp or whitacker would have been hit more by even old mosley or small marquez than floyd did.

floyd the best in d, its not me saying it, its the truth.

Floyd's got a great defense but these kinds of things should be ranked in tiers not in absolutes. he'd be tier 1 along with all those guys.

i dnt agree . Just bc he's faster/more atheltic doesnt mean he has better defense. Toney had better defense then Floyd imo, and he wasnt half as fast. To me, the best defense is the most versatile defense .. and it encompasses everything from counter punching, head movement, block, parrying, footwork, etc. When you consider all that I dont think Floyd has the best defense, but its defnitely one of the best.

are you talking about how Mosley feinted the jab and hit him with a right cross. Floyd adjuested to that **** and never got hit with it again in that fight. Why do you always think you can beat Floyd with one punch or one tactical thing

Rofl a faded Whitaker made a prime DLH look like an amateur, DLH was literally fighting air.

Floyd could barely scrape away with a split decision against an old as hell,.... 8 or 10 years removed from his prime DLH. Lay off the sauce

He counters better then Floyd, and he does the shoulder roll better then Floyd. Floyd beats him in the footwork department though.

:-( can you believe that guy. he tries so hard to discredit Floyd. Toney is better at using the shoulder roll. FLoyd is better at not being hit.
    So Floyd has beter defense

You'd need someone with size who could keep Floyd at the end of his punches, have the pop to force Floyd to keep in the shell defense a half second longer than usual, and the hand speed to get back to guard their chin from Floyd's counter uppercuts and hooks.

    -Length + size
    -Power
    -Hand speed/placement for defensive purposes
