As far as the PPV sales, I expect it to do less than 2 million, but more than 1 million. 1.5 is my guess.
No way will it do as good as the first fight but it'll still do good, which is why it might happen again.
Well, that is still good I guess, but how much do you think a fight with Cotto will do. I'm suprised how many people I talk to and who don't watch Cotto say a fight wiith Floyd is what they want to see.
Well I wasn't really going in the Cotto direction with this thread but since you brought it up. I think that a fight with Cotto would sell less but earn floyd more money. If they promote it heavily and do one of those 24/7 shows I think that Floyd vs Cotto could do about 750,000 buys. DLH vs Floyd 2 will probably do about 1,000,000 buys. Difference is that DLH commands much bigger pay days. He is still going to get his 30 million if anybody is going to be shorted it will be floyd. Cotto on the other hand will probably take a smaller purse leaving more money for Floyd
I know you wasn't going in thatdirection, but that is the fight the world wants to see. But I do think it will get to a mill. Because for one Floyd impress against Hatton, and alot of people didn't buy that fight because of the FIRST HOYA FIGHT. Also the Hatton fight did well, plus Floyd did KO him. Shane and Cotto did well I believe 400,000 better than most. Floyd doing wrestling is going to help him out alot also. But that my opinion because he is a superstar now
there needs to be a lot of too stupid/too rich/too bored people out there if this is gonna sell anywhere near as many as last time out. there is NO WAY this fight is getting a donation out of my pocket. utter crap. i'd rather watch PBF wrestle a big fat bloke in a woman's swimsuit...
It will sell well to the idiot Floyd fans who feel this matchup is neccessary and that Floyd is taking a risk somehow. Unfortunately, that's probably a lot of fans.
