I think you are confused. I believe based on memory, Floyd averages over 15 punches per round. While he limits his opponents to under 10. I.e his last fights with De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton. Cotto doesnt have the defense OScar has.

I stopped reading after this statement. GRap, you may be a little biased at times, but you usually state facts. Cotto has only been dropped once, and if you saw the fight, he was really pulled to the ground by Torres.

DLH stopped using the jab which he was using so well on Floyd, then stopped.. Floyd did not neutralize his jab.. This is gonna' be a mental fight, but Cotto is much smarter than you give him credit for.. Floyd does not fair well against a strong accurate jab or pressure.. What is Floyd gonna' do when he shells up on the ropes and doesn't punch back? His body will get eatin' up.. You act as if even Klitschko can't even touch Floyd.. Floyd KO'ing Cotto? No ****ing way.. Floyd couldn't KO DLH, Baldomir, Corley, or Judah.. What if Cotto's jab gets neutralized? He'll switch his gameplan up just like in the Mosley fight.. Cotto doesn't have a IQ of 5 like your hinting to.. Floyd is beatable.. Floyd is touchable.. Floyd is hurtable.. And trust me.. Someone is gonna' take that 0, and it's a damn good chance it's gonna' be Cotto..

By floored I didnt mean dropped. What I meant was he has been caught by staggering shots, by atleast Corley, Torres, Judah and Mosley. Some poster said he was also blasted by Maussa.

I would respectfully disagree with the Judah part. I feel you on the Baldomir and DLH.

But I do believe FLoyd should have Ko'd baldomir. Baldomir was available all day for Floyd to have target practice on his face.

Oh, ok. That makes sense. At 140, it's common knowledge he was weight drained. Against Judah, i thought he handled those uppercuts quite well. Most welters would have been dropped, but Cotto took them very well. As for mosley, i dont think he hurt Cotto at all during the fight, but I could be wrong.

Floyd did nuetralize the jab, because Oscar wasnt landing it. You can nuetralize a jab by a fighter by making him miss just like you can nuetralize it by hitting him.

How many times do we hear trainers telling their fighters to throw the jab and they dont do it? There is a reason for that, if the fighter believes it isnt working, they will stop using it.

Cotto doesnt have near the strength or defense of Oscar at 154. Nor will he land like he did against a younger, faster fighter like Floyd as he did on Mosley.

Cotto will not take Floyds 0. Oscar has a better chance because he can bother Floyd stylistically and physically, neither Cotto brings to the table.

I dont know why people predict FLoyd to KO people. It's not like he is some KO artist. If you're going to predict him to KO someone, it should be against bums like baldomir and bruseles (which he didnt).

you shouldnt predict him to KO a great fight like Cotto. Again, it makes absolutely no sense in the world to say he can KO Cotto when he did not open up against the most limited champion in history (baldomir)

Being weight drained may be an excuse for why he was being staggered all over the ring. But its not an excuse to why he was being hit flush and continues to be hit flush.

Judah has the IQ of rocks and stopped throwing those uppercuts when he got discouraged. Mosley caught Cotto in the 10th and drove him to the ropes before the referee stopped the fight thus probably saving Cotto from a good deal of punishment. Even against Gomez, Cotto was getting hit. Its not an anomaly.

Mayweather doesnt need to hurt Cotto, he just needs to wear him down over the course of the fight like he did Castillo in the 2nd fight, to the point around round 10 where Cotto has the same look on his face Castillo did. I believe Cotto will be opened up by Floyd and exposed for his lack of defense.

BTW, everybody keeps bringing up the "Cotto has been hurt yada yada" ****.. Cotto is a pressure fighter and is willing to take shots.. Floyd rides a bicycle and this is why he doesn't get hurt as much.. Everytime Cotto has been stunned, staggered, floored, or whatever, he has recovered well.. At 147, he is a beast and if Mosley couldn't hurt him bad, Floyd sure as hell won't.. It's funny how everybody say it'll be a close fight that can could go either way, but all the Floyd fans says Cotto has no chance.. Floyd is not a god..

Baldomir is a poor example. He has a chin like granite, lasted 12 with Vernon Forrest and hasnt been KO'd since his 2nd or 3rd fight in his 15 year career.

Mayweather also broke his hand that night.
