Sometimes they don't, but atleast they fight the best contenders in their division and are willing to fight more than once a year..

Cruised along, gazing at the different responses.
Being an amateur boxer myself, I thought I would make one of my own that is FAIR and unbiased. I will explain how BOTH can win, how they will win, and what they need to do to win.

First, let us state the advantages or major strengths which WILL play a role in the fight. Yes, one may have more accuracy or ring smarts than the other... but that does not mean that the other has NONE. Yes, Cotto has more power than Floyd, but Floyd can still pop WHEN he decides to, just like Floyd Mayweather is extremely accurate but that does not mean Cotto throws wild, missing punches.

Cotto: Strength, Determination, Recovery, Work Rate, Heart, Power, Accuracy,

Timing, Calm in adversity, Controlled and Intelligent Aggression.

Mayweather: Experience, Speed, Defensive genius, Almost inhuman boxing skill, crafty and meets adversity with relative ease. Deceptive power. Unmatched accuracy.

Now the disadvantages shown in this fight.

    Cotto:

Why do so many Mayweather fans take it as 'Floyd bashing' when people say Cotto could beat him?

Some take it personal. As if you're insulting them because sometimes the fighter they support represents themselves in a certain, odd way.

They see values in the fighter that they have or want.

The others are just pissy, little bitches. :rofl

Nice job man, I'm glad you made an objective argument for both fighters winning. Too many people in this thread are making 1-sided analyses and showing alot of bias.

Yes, a lot of times adolescences and teenagers will idolize with a professional athlete who has traits that they want to be identified with.

Right I can see why any person that is training (in boxing) would love to have that defense of his. But 99.9% of the teens you see that are fans of his don't box

    Funniest??? :think

Cotto will push the issue Bruh . . . and if PBF uses his run and pot shotting style . . . . he'll lose rounds and most probably the fight. PBF will be forced to throw counters all night.

    I don't think that's funny . . . that's real. :yep
