THen whats your ****ing point? you act like DLH was never P4P you act like vargas was never rated P4P, you act like Genaro Hernandez wasnt P4P, Chavez sr who trained at Azteca Boxing club for most of the later part of his career, then you had Camacho who came out here and trained as well... you act like that Latino fighters that came from here were never rated p4p and thats an out right lie, bottom line Cali has some of the best fighters on the planet while the Midwest has given us what Floyd jr in the last 20 years
Wrong again Mong. Damn you fail at everything. Take a look see if it was me that started it. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=426744
Very rare? Barrera, Morales, Castillo, Oscar, Marquez, Chavez, etc. have been P4P most recently atsch and to be fair, whenever there is a top black fighter at or below 147 there is usually a latino fighter around that is capable of beating their ass. Like Duran/Leonard, or Castillo/Mayweather. Pea Whitaker was really the only one to go through the weights untouched. :hi:
aint nobody f*ckin with Ward right now. eastcoast aint doing **** either. Ward > Dawson Bradley > Garcia
Yes he is from No Cal, But did you know for the first few years of his career Guerrero along with Jermey Williams would both be at Wildcard training together... Like it or not fighters from all over the world come to Cali for good reason you dont get guys from the UK, from Ukraine, from the other side of the nation and other places such as the Philippines to come here to train if there isnt something good here
sorry dude got ya mixed up with this slick grand rapids crew, California is where its at there are no short cuts here not in sparring not in the amateurs and not in the pros if your thinking about boxing, your safest bet is to come to Cali and find out if its really for you, because if you cant do it in Cali your not going to do it at all :deal
true that. maybe it's the diversity. our fighters deal with pretty much every style possible. so to make it and become a named fighter here is a pretty big deal.
Yup. Oscar, Pac, Mosley, etc. probably had a lot to do with boxers coming out to LA Big Bear, etc. for training camps.
Thats exactly what it is we get fighters from all over, in the amateurs we have the Desert showdown tourney thats where basically all the fighters from the south west region get together and compete they give out titles there too... I am not knocking fighters from NY as NY is the 2nd best place to be, what I am saying is places like Detroit and Phillie are a thing of the past sure they have given us some of the best fighters in history but they are not as consistent as NY and CA
