Having the head-to-head edge doesn't mean you should rank higher overall. Junior Jones/Marco Antonio Barrera, Ken Norton/Muhammad Ali (Ali got lucky to win 2), Aaron Pryor/Alexis Arguello, etc... Barrera, Ali, and Arguello are all the greater fighters in those comparisons because they had greater overall careers. Likewise for DLH and Mosley. Besides, the 2nd fight between DLH and Balco Mosley is dubious.
If Wright had fought a terrific, bigger fighter like Mosley did against Winky, I think Winky would lose too. Shane had a nice run as a title-holder (albeit against so-so opposition) at 135 and defeated a prime DLH in impressive fashion. I have no problem personally if you have Winky ahead of Mosley all-time. I thought he won 7 rounds against both Vargas and Taylor, so he should've been a 2 division champion, and a champ at 154 sooner than when he won his belt.
Bonds holds the singal season and career records for Home Runs in Major League Baseball. He has been acaused of using staroids, and is perhaps the most known name in the BALCO scandal . Allthough he has never tested postive for them, the acauastions (along with being a jerk) have nagitivtly affected his public image with the press and fans. My point in bringing up Bonds is that while it is suposed to be innconet intel proven gulity. The reality is that a for a lot of people an acausion is enough. Mosley is going to be nagitivly affected by the acausion of using staroids. More so than any other boxer that gets acused of doing so espicialy sence he like Bonds was a BALCO client. It is not fair but that is how things work.
