Wlad will be remembered as the man who ran the HW division in the early 2000s. Vitali will be his lesser brother.

I was about to say the same thing about Vitali. As good as he was, the one thing he will be remembered for is

I think Vitali gets remembered for taking the tougher fights for little brother. For getting revenge on the guys who KTFO Wlad. He'll get a lot more respect as a true fighter. He has the family balls.

If you remember a 3 time champion ,with legit lineage at one stage as "TKO6", then you're truly ignorant.

Yea but the long injury-related layoff and then endless operations hurt him legacy wise. Wlad's is longer, more consistent, better wins, better names.

Great fighters that brought some dignity to a division full of clowns and cans. People will wish they never retired when they do. :deal

They will be remembered well and dominant. For 10 years these two guys have cleaned up the division. I think they helped by their size, which is everything, but regardless. there is no weight limit to heavyweights so they are within the rules, and they have dominated. Easily. They have beaten guys who were very good and made them look average.

This really. Would people really want to see guys like Peter and Arreola fight for the lineal championship in the HW division? :dead .
I'd say that "clowns and cans" is a bit harsh, but I get what you're saying.

What a sad clown you are..........:-(

Newsflash Chester, the US doesn't rule the world of boxing anymore, certainly not at Heavyweight, and they haven't since before Lennox Lewis. And this is coming from an American............

Put that in your pipe & smoke it. :hat

It could just as easily be said that Wlad got revenge against Byrd, who beat Vitali due to injury.

...........and Wlad beat Byrd up TWICE, worse the second time.

They will be remembered for clearly dominating this era of HW boxing. The two headed monster of the HW division. I think the accolades the brothers Klitschko have received are all well deserving and they get an unjust criticism from American "fans".

I am a fan of both brothers and would always tune in when they were on HBO or Showtime. I don't understand why they get so much heat.

Lewis wasn't American but could sell PPV in America. The majority of boxing fans around the world dont care about Wlad and statistics back that up.
Why would anybody want to remember him when he's gone...
