So now Johnson was prime when he went to LHW at around 32 but not around 30 when Ottke was beating him :patsch. Got it.
Yes Ottke lacked power, but still was hard to beat and beat several solid punchers. But do note that when you fight at world level you score less KOs and many fighters have around 20 fights fighting people they can KO before stepping up, which boosts their KO percentage, but you dont note Ottke was fighting for world titles in I think his 13th fight.

Good honest post, because I do agree. Ottke although turning pro at LHW, wasnt proven at the weight like he was SMW, so fair post

    :happy Sensational post.
Yes Tarvers resume is dreadful when compared to Ottkes and Tarver wasnt able to handle the worst version of Jones, which makes me think, Ottke with his speed would trouble Tarver

Anybody with a damn brain knows Johnson prime was at light heavyweight in which Johnson first big win in his career was against Roy Jones follow by beating Tarver in the first fight (Tarver i thought won). So let me guess you think Johnson was in his prime when he fought at mw?

What? So Johnson becomes prime for stopping a shot RJJ? He was a journeymen and a tough one at that. So you think Johnson or Tarver would beat RJJ prior to the Ruiz fight? Johnson and Tarver were both B level fighters who made their names stopping a washed up RJJ. Johnson and Tarver would have been like a Shieka fighting tough, but never winning a title. Guys like Pompey, Terrence Ali, Emanuel Augustus, Micky Ward, etc. Tough, but shy of winning a world title. RJJ keeps proving this to all that he is washed up, but still fights and makes others look good like Green who then loses to Tarver.

Hey, your avatar pic is the guy who is going to fight Vitali? He looks like a mob guy with his buddies. Hope he puts up a good fight. It seems like no one is giving him a chance. When fight night comes, people are still going to be saying, "who is fighting Vitali tonight". It would be something if he pulled the upset.

The point Im making is based on what you said, rather amusingly that Johnson at 30 wasnt prime, but when he fought at 32 he suddenly was.
You arent one of those fools who think someones prime just because thats when they won a world title do you?
Johnsonwasnt able to compete at SMW because it was a tougher division and did better at LHW because it was a bigger name but easier division.

Ottke beat Johnson, Tarver however you scored it, didnt do as well against older Johnson as Ottke did the 30 year old version

Did well for a **** fighter.
Remember Ottke beat Johnson who beat Tarver also.
How was Ottke protected, his resume is very good, better in my opinion than Tarvers

How ugly and boring would a fight between Ottke and Hopkins be on a scale from 1-10 ten meaning most ugly and boring? :D

It would be terrible, but Hopkins ducked that one anyway and didnt want to go to SMW and take the challenge.
In fact that should say alot there. Hopkins ducked the SMWs and went after Tarver, probably because he saw the floors which could be exposed in an easier fight
