How would prime Earnie Shavers do against prime Ray Mercer in 15 rounds?

    Both big punchers that were very flawed, which of these two at their best would have come out on top era for era, prime for prime?

    But Mercer's ability to take bombs is easily 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 classes above Earnie's.
    Mercer was also slightly better foundamentally, with better stamina.
    Earnie try to take ray early with his right hand, but Mercer keeps punching due to his chin, in the 2nd round, Mercer takes the control of the fight whereas Shavers stamina turns its back on him. By the third, Mercer manage to stop an already tired Earnie, wins the fight.
    Mercer said after the fight: "Shavers hit me harder than any heavyweight i've stepped in the ring with, Including Morrison! But one thing i can tell you, his punches doesn't match his chin, that's for sure."

    I think Shavers would rock the living yee-haw out of Mercer and come the closest to knocking him down, PERIOD.

    But Mercer would get him in 7 or 8.

    Well- honestly If Earnie did land and land flush on his chin he could "sniper" Mercer so to speak.
    He really is the hardest puncher of all time (Probably) not out of the question for him to take one the hardest chins of all time he rocked Ali into the shadow realm on more then one occasion however the difference being Ali had the biggest heart AND thee hardest chin.

    By sniper I mean make it look like someone shot Mercer from the crowd. with enough force and that right spot Earnie could stop anyone. Most likely outcome is however a Mercer win.
