How would Ricky Hatton have done under Freddie a Roach?

    Simple question, how would Ricky have done if he'd have been a wild card fighter from a) the outset of his pro career and b) when Mayweather Sr. took over his training.

    Maybe not much better. I know it's not possible but I've always thought the absolute best trainer for Hatton would have been Kevin Rooney.

    I don't know how good Roach actually is any more to be honest. He couldn't do much for Khan and didn't seem to suggest anything helpful against Mayweather

    You can't train a Chin and that was Hatton's problem. And it is Khan's problem also that is no fault of Roach.

    Did prime Hatton have a prob with chin? Offensively I think Ricky could have done pretty well under Freddie.
