I would've gone for Kevin Johnson. Perfect fight for him.

I'd also like to see him in with Chisora to hype a fight later in the year with Joshua.

Amazed how people seem to rate Browne on here. He's there to be beaten by anyone with serious aspirations in the heavyweight division.

I'd match price up with him, chambers and maybe pianta or Lepai to get him back on track. If he can't win those then he may as well call it a day.

He can fight Chisora, so British boxing wins 1 boxer out of 2 as of now half boxers. Winner can go back on the scene and continue going after big fights while loser can practically retire.

Chisora may be already retired. I'd match him against Johnson or Wach to get the rounds in.

Lucas Browne is a likable fellow but I'm sorry I don't really see anything too impressive about him. You would expect someone like Fury to box his head off, if Price can not get past him he has to re-evaluate.

So he is fighting a man who barely threw a punch against Hammer
and was brutally ko'd by joseph parker.

I hate to say it, but price is becoming a massive joke.
You dont mind him losing to thompson aslong as he comes back and fights decent opposition.

Hughie fury is fighting a better man this month.

Thats a good point.I don't think David will box anybody good unless a title is on the line. Maybe Joshua if he was offered it for really good money, but maybe himself would be considered too dangerous at this point.

Price would expose Joshua, more power and experience.

Joshua is more explosive and quicker, but Price only needs one shot...

Thats one point of view that I respect, but not sure I agree. It just seems to be one of those fights that are too good to be true. I think Dave is boxing inferior opposition in the hope of getting one big fight, and this would be it. If as you say he exposed AJ, that would definitely open doors for him. I don't know if Fury will give up his European to pursue bigger things, but if he did I could see Dave going down that route. Ive always thought he was capable of winning that, but never seen him as world champion.

I believe Price has the tools to expose AJ, that big right hook of his we saw KO Harrison, and floor Thompson is serious. Who knows if Joshua will be able to take that if it lands, I suspect not based on the fact AJ has already been exposed in amateurs by lesser opponents than Price. My concern is price having stamina to go into the latter half of the fight, that was his downfall against Tony Thomson. This fight should be made but mismatchroom won't let it.
