How would you rate canelo head to head ever

You said "he could probably beat someone like Hagler". How casually you just typed this saying he could beat a man widely considered the 1,2 or 3 MW of all time. I'm flabbergasted at the audacity.

MW is probably the 2nd most glamorized division in boxing historically. There's legions of MW's (and I mean guys that never even won belts), that would give Canelo Hell. Please go watch some older fights.

 

I think both Kessler and Calzaghe beats him at SMW.

 

I noticed you left out Foster and Moore. Not even you could find the heart to disrespect these greats. LOL

 

I'd like to see Canelo vs Monzon.

That would be a great fight and one that Canelo would lose.

Crawford a welter Canelo wasn`t even that good at 154 let alone proven anything at 147, as he`s moved up he`s improved vastly.

 

Is that because Jones schooled Toney? Jones didn`t beat B-hop by that much and nobody else he beat was near Canelo`s level.

 

Crawford was great fighter at 140 and is good fighter at 147. Canelo's 168 and Crawford's 140 are their peak. I put Canelo over him because he fought tricky southpaw and good shoulder roll user.

Canelo's 154 adventure is underrated. He is career 154 lber actually. His most fights are at 154. His 154 career is much deeper than Crawford's 147.

 

Hopkins is better than Canelo, and Toney is also better.

 

It would be a real treat to watch the fight prime Joe Calzaghe Vs Canelo at SMW.
My sympathies are on Joe's side for several reasons. Nothing objective.

I didn't say he is the best light middle of all time. He was very good light middle except stamina.
