No way could Floyd have fought aggressively v Duran.

Laing didn`t land that much and Duran was clearly out of soughts, Floyd would not have stopped Moore and Duran did really well v Hagler who was better than anybody Floyd ever fought, there`s no way Floyd would have fought Hagler and he wouldn`t have fought Hearns at 154 either.

Duran would have beat the crap out of Floyd, Mayweater was never in at that level, Duran was something else at 135, and was amazing while coming forwards v the bigger Ray Leonard who at the time was one of the most dangerous fighters in the world, Duran`s resume craps all over Floyd`s.

He doesn’t have to but he could pull a ray Leonard in fight 2 and possibly make it easy

    A highly unlikely scenario.

    1. He’d have needed supreme confidence to have showboated and mocked Duran.

    2. In all likelihood, Duran would never have respected him as much as what he did Leonard.

If it’s a scenario where it would have been their first fight, unlike the Leonard rematch where he was coming off of a win, the likelihood is, he’d have fought Floyd aggressively and fully motivated. He’d never have sat back and let Floyd mock him like Leonard did.

It would have been a completely different fight.

I just don’t see how Duran would have been in the same mindset.

I don’t think it’s realistic to believe otherwise.

There’s just too many variables for it to have played out as same as the Leonard rematch.

    * Laing landed more than enough to take at least seven rounds on my card, and I'm probably being generous to Duran.
    * Maybe Mayweather doesn't stop Moore, maybe he does. Moore was open for counters, and could bust up. I don't see Moore landing consistently enough to beat Mayweather, at any rate. So, if he's stopped or shut out, he's still losing badly.
    * Duran did well against Hagler? That's nice. He still lost by a 10-5 margin on my card. Personally, I find his level of success in the fight to be a bit overstated.
    * Mayweather generally fought the best available guys at the weight. If he's fighting in the 70's and 80's, he's probably facing those guys at some point.

    PBF couldn't fight SRL style
Yes, he would have made Duran miss but those single shots, lacking in real power,

PBF is a great H2H fighter because he has few weaknesses and his defense is arguably the best ever alot of these fighters listed here had many. Usually people say this guy would knock him out and beat the crap outta him but it's ridiculous unless you're talking about guys who would dwarf him like Hearns.

At 130 arguably the GOAT beats everyone there or at worst is a 50/50 fight with everyone at that weight in boxing history.
135 I see him beating guys like Duran and JCC there. Armstrong Mosley and especially Pea Whitaker could cause him problems
140 pryor would give him hell
147 size really gets the better of him here guys are naturally bigger than him Hearns destroys him SRL Kid Gavilan beat him and Benitez close figh at 147 and at 154 he would beat PBF and quite a few others would beat him
154 outsized The Body snatcher Norris possibly Winky as well

PBF at 130 destroys Loma too big and a horrific styles match up for him there.

Ive NEVER said that !! But I am convinced Tony would have kicked Floyds ass with no problem when at 100%. Floyd knew it too thats why he had to change his underwear he soiled when he saw Tony stood in front of him
I understand he depends on DEPENDS just in case he bumps into Tony again

Norris was too big and powerful when you match that with his hand speed, Floyd never faced any fighter with Norris` offensive prowess.

Look at all of the BS that Floyd pulled in his own career.

There is nothing at all to suggest that he’d have fought the Fab Four etc.

The evidence shows that he’d more than likely have tried to swerve them.
