AJ enters the ring after and cuts an unscripted promo on philosophical ponderings. Everyone goes to sleep.
By boxing standards Haye may have a bit of pretty boy imagine and doesn't come across in that way that many other fighters do, but he clearly has the mentality of someone who is not be messed with. And that's before you even take into account his size and fighting ability. When confronted by Chisora (and it was real unlike most of the Bellew bs) he smashed that bottle over his head without a seconds hesitation, he didn't have to think twice about it. That level of violence and intent to do harm was what was instinctive to him. I was impressed with how he handled himself.
It's a good thing that Chisora and Whyte are the one's actually fighting. If it was AJ vs someone else, I reckon Miller and Whyte would definitely exchange words. Maybe Babyting might put some work in if Miller starts tarkin rubbish.
Sky / Hearn will be keen to use the chance to create some hype amongst their own heavys. Especially as in all likelyhood AJ will be involved in in-house fights for the next year or so. AJ and probably Miller will be in the ring together (with a ton of security) just before the main event. AJ will be saying the usual crap “anybody is welcome to challenge me April 13 etc” maybe even Usyk will be allowed to enter the ring to join the party. If they do it right, Hearn can win back some attention after the Wilder - Fury stuff recently.
