We should petition a network to give him some exposure, for starters, because none of the other top dogs are going to want to fight this dude without some serious compensation for the risk. Hasegawa's mentioned that he'd love to fight Penalosa, Agbeko, or Moreno in an interview I read from him before the Malinga fight, in which he also said a dream of his was to have a big fight in the US.

I hope we get to see that, because the guy's got legit talent.

Hasegawa has lately kept saying he wants to fight in the big stages like Las Vegas.
According to some Japanese source, his manager wants him to move up to feather weight and fight Chris John! I am not sure this match-up could be possible, but Hasegawa seems to have difficulty making weight in bantam.

Most of Japanese boxing fans definitely want him to fight big names in the US. The fans are mentioning those names from Vic Darchinyan, Christian Mijares to Rafael Marquez, Izzy Vasquez.
I wish his performance could be aired on the US TV programs!

i'd love to see that, i doubt he'll ever be on HBO as a headline but, he could showcase his talent on Showtime though i'm sure

Beating a punching bag ( kiriloV) overrated and light hitting ( Mijares) and washed up Arce. Hazegawa could be the first quality opponent Darchinyan has faced in years. Hazegawa is taller and quick.. I think Hazegawa could upset Darchinyan.Based on the footage. His footwork and speed could give Vic problems.Let's get this on. Darchinyan has just been well matched, punchin, light punchers and slow overrated brawlers to a pulp.maaaaaaaaaate! lol.

Jap? take that racist ass **** out of here son, his resume is surely not as great as Vic's but he's still more then skilled enough and big enough to school his ass

i've been saying this for the longest, Vic would get taken to school if he fought Hasegawa, his defense is far too poor for a counterpuncher of Hozumi's caliber

i mean ****......you'd think you'd remmember the last time your boy got in the ring with a slick, skilled, asian counterpuncher, you do don't you?, cuzz that **** ended in KOFTY

pfffttt. he's too talented to be knocked out by darchi. i'll bet my house that he schools darchi till he gets knocked out the 2nd time around.

hasegawa is a brilliant tactiacian and hard to hit. he should get the **** out of japan for some big fights and prove his worth. i'm a believer though
