The point is, Huck did a Abraham with some more flurries that scored him the rounds, but he obviously doesn't have as much power as Abraham although it looks as if he does. Huck scores with his wild quick flurries and gets through quite a good amount of clean landing powerpunches, but they had no effect on Ola, and they had no effect to most of his better conditioned opponents. Looks like he can't transfer energy as well as Abraham, with is a skill itself.
That's not how I saw it, and obviously I haven't seen punch stats, but I though Afolabi threw a good 10 - 20 punches more a round than Huck. Huck also fought backing up a majority of the fight. Afolabi was the aggressor most of the fight, but two or three times a round Huck would come forward very aggressively, often after pushing Afolabi out of a clinch. Huck just landed the harder punches, and when he did throw punches, he threw them in bunches, whereas Afolabi did a ton more jabbing and tended to throw one shot at a time. Either way, we both saw Huck as the victor. Edit: just to clarify, I do think Huck was more EFFECTIVELY aggressive than Afolabi when he was aggressive.
Ola has a good chin and an awkward style which makes it truly tough for every opponent to connect with very telling shots( Huck should have listen to his coach who was urging him constantly to target Ola's body instead of trying to decapitate him). You are right! AA carries more firepower in his fists.Huck can punch. No doubt about it! However,I can still vividly remember his encounter with Tokarev who was a hittable target in front of Huck's fists.Huck was able to connect with quite a lot of very good shots,but........Tokarev wasnt impressed at all.Of course we all know that Tokarev has a very good beard, but Hukc couldnt miss him that night.
Most of Afolabis "jabs" were body touches, range finders or plain fake activity that weren't even in range to connect. I don't count that as "punches thrown". Extending the arm with a foot between your gloves and the opponent isn't punching. What Huck has to learn to get MUCH better is, to spot fake activity, and throw counters WITH his opponents action / punch. If it's range finding and fake action, he can safely throw massive punches at the same time, and shock his opponent when he connects. Huck did it like 4 times in the fight and looked good with it, but he didn't do it often enough.
