He's already proved himself to be European-fringe world.... And he's only 20 and not even close to reaching his full potential. Rudenko gave Browne all he could handle, arguably won... Hughie beat him comfortably. Insane that people are already writing him off, I don't understand boxing fans....

Exactly what is it that Hughie has wrong with him? I've never seen anything 'concrete'.

Amazing how ignorant some people are of the human body.... a 20 year old kid who's 6'6 220+ lbs plus is not fully grown, or settled into their frame.... Hughie will gain more mass, and settle in told his build more over the next couple of years.

european/fringe world it far too optimistic for the guys he has beat. rudenko proved against lucas browne that he isnt exactly top level because lucas browne has done all he can imo winning the commonwealth belt.

im not writing hughie off but imo he wont reach world level and think he will come unstuck before then, tyson is getting his shot more to do with his mouth and teh box office appeal and hughie doesnt have that !!

I'm staggered at the level of observation here (for most). I'd take a penny to a pound that H.Fury gets a world title strap. He's technically great already, am I genuinely one of the few that can see it?
It seems people rate heavy punchers KOing lower-tier fighters (a la Price) way more than low-key technically talented 20 yr old like Hughie...!?
If we're talking HW boxing at the highest level this kid has everything in oodles, variety of shots, good pacing, great movement, steady attitude and has already got bags of experience at a high(ish) level whilst fighting through a blood disorder!
Oh wait, he didn't plod forwards and throw massive, risky over-hand rights to KO bin-men on the way up.......that must mean he's Euro level at best then......
Turn it in naysayers, this kid is the future no doubt about it.

Well said that man, could not agree more.:deal

Not many HW out there at any sort of level who look as technically able as H. Fury.

have I ever said I'm a technical boxing genius or anything even near to it.....
You are are an ugly freak boxing nerd.... you think I give a **** whether people think I'm knowledgeable on boxing or not. the fact of the matter is you had a few fights and quit boxing... you could have spent your time in the gym trying to improve but instead you dedicate your life to crying over peoples opinions here... you are a loser/ bottle job in every aspect in your life... I lower myself everytime I even reply to you

A lot of people see this.

There is an unfortunate tendency in boxing today for a lot of keyboard warriors to find any flaw that they can with a prospect and jump on them with great exaggeration.

Sadly, it is usually racially/ethnically motivated. Alternatively, someone just makes as many stupid predictions as they can so that, if one of them pans out, they can say: "See, I was right all along."

Take the Chisora/Tyson Fury difference. Despite the fact that Chisora is a relatively late comer to the sport, is not particularly big, fast or powerful, and consequently does nothing well--nothing well at all--there are those who TWICE picked him to beat Tyson Fury.

Was it a black/white thing? An Irish/English thing? A traveler thing? Can't say, but it was so very, very obvious to those of us without a bias that Fury was in a different class that it was almost comical.

Now we have Hugh who is starting out much more technically sound than his cousin, who, by the by, is fighting for the championship in October, and we are hearing the same ****.

Some people ought to just come out and admit that they don't care a lick about the sport of boxing and just want to fantasize about having *** with Deontay Wilder. Hughey will obviously reach world level. The only danger is that he does so too fast. At 6'6", he really ought not contend until he is 27 or so years old.

No, those who degrade and insult the Fury family are.

    The irony here.

Also, "ain't yoi" is very poor grammar and spelling. Neither is even a true word.
