He asks Dillian Whyte for a fight, so Dillian says lets go champ on Feb 3rd...then Hughie says he needs to more time to prepare...See the first 4 minutes of this interview

This compounds his stinkfest, chicken running man display against Parker. Where he thought he could steal a mans belt by running and pouring out a range finder jab...Thats not boxing or fighting son, thats attempted theft pure and simple.

If Hughie wants to get his career back on track he needs to take the fights that are available. Otherwise next year he will just be facing blown up Hungarian CWs in nothing match ups. Mick Hennessey probably has a £0.79 PPV on youtube to put him on.

I suggest he also needs to do some strength and power work too. Because no one wants to watch a HW who cannot punch.

It would be nice if whyte actually fought an opponent who has a full training camp, but obviously hearn has no interest in doing that. It’s beyond a joke now.

    Hughie Fury is a joke.

He's ****, living of his cousins name.

The fact I paid to watch him go for a 36 minute jog makes me hate him even more!

Hughie has a good style for the amateurs

I thought he'd come along with having the world champ to spar on a daily basis but he hasn't at all and just likes going for a run against opponents

I reckon he's been dropped and stopped in sparring and that's why he fights this way

stick him in with price or sexton

That's a decent suggestion. Price might just actually take him.

Peter Fury announced sometime ago he was talk g time away from boxing and wouldn't be back till January. So they offered to fight Whyte in March on a Sky ppv undercard. Obviously start of Feb would be too early if your trainer isn't back till Jan. This was all explained to Whytes team. Whyte is decent but he makes out he's some world beater that the world's scared of but there seriously not.

He’s only 23...that’s a baby in heavyweight terms. The defeat by Parker will be the best thing that ever happened to him in the long run. He just needs to get the balance right. Defensively he’s very good, but he needs to be ruthless and let his hands go more. Quantity over quality.

He doesn't have great punch power though so not much to back up a fighter , that's why he boxes and moves

This is true. I have to admit, I find it strange that a big lad like that can’t deliver a concussive punch. If he’s going to box and move, he needs to take more risks and throw in bunches.

Without any punch power he has no future at HW above low level domestic.

He needs to do what it takes to put some lead in his pencil whether that be diet or stylistically. Then come back. Then he can also be aggressive when the openings come.

None of us here want to watch someone run an entire fight. That’s not fighting or boxing.

Both of these get on my tits as a boxing fan. Whyte because he has an over-inflated sense of his own worth which keeps him relatively inactive. Fury because his surname doesn't remotely match his style.

How long do fighters want? Lucas Browne turned down the fight with plenty of notice.
February the 3rd is more than enough prep time for a British level fight.

He has some great skills for a lump. But needs to have some confidence. I also get the feeling he's packing glass which is why he never plants his feet ever .

Hughie would beat this Price by TKO.
