He fights again on Saturday against Mrazek who has 40 losses on his record. It's easy to criticise that but this guy has recently gone a 6 x 3 distance with Sam ***ton and Tyson Fury a bit further back. He is fighting very regularly against steadily increasing levels of opposition.
Did you see some of Mike Tyson's opponents when he just turned pro? Hughie is fighting again next week, so what else do you want from him? He did what he should of done to that level of opponent and he seems like he's keen to fight as often as possible, so good luck to him. I just hope he stays humble unlike his cousin.
He looked like the troll out of Ghosts and Goblins. Can't see them holding Hughie back for too long, he looks a decent prospect.
A bit unfair to Butterbean.I reckon he would have also taken care of the guy in 3 or 4 rounds.Fought in this country and got a one round win,I think.As for young Fury,I think his Dad is doing the right thing in getting him out on a regular basis.I think this should have been done with David Price,and could be one reason why Hughs cousin is a little bit in front of him at this point.
Point taken mate.But maybe a steady build up in opposition.Theyve already been to Canada.Possibly a few in Germany where there seem to be a fair few at heavy.I think being active will do him good,as well as obviously earning money.
Hughie has great movement.He moves better than many cruisers.He's obviously a well trained fighter,moves well from side to side,mixes to head and body and controls the range.Quite remarkable for an 18 year old kid fighting like a vet.Will be interesting to see how he fares when stepping up.Ian Lewison will be a good opponent.
Hughie is looking like the real deal. Im going to put £1000 on him at the bookies to be H/W champ within two years. Just gotta get some good odds.
