He has stopped every guy he's fought since winning a decision in his debut.

Rightly or wrongly, team Huni do have complaints.

Huni's manager, Mick Francis, vented his frustrations after the bout and revealed he had even voiced his complaints to Eddie Hearn, adding he'd be issuing a complaint to the WBA immediately.

He told the Matchroom promoter: 'You haven't heard the last of this.'

Francis added: 'He just waved it off.

'I’m lodging a protest with the WBA.

'I’ve already spoken to Eddie Hearn and Spencer (Brown) and they agreed.

'It’s a ****ing world title, not some fight in the park.

'And they didn't give Justis Huni the correct opportunity.'

Huni went into the fight with a bicep injury that now requires surgery. He won't be fighting anyone any time soon.

The reason the Huni corner didn't question the stoppage is because they had seen Huni get ko'd before in sparring sessions.Ref saved that boys life and his corner knew it.

The count was maybe marginally fast. But it was a very hard knockdown and I think waving it off like the ref did could have saved Huni from some serious hurt.

Yep, I thought he could have continued and should have been given the chance to for sure.

Whether you think Huni was finished or not the referee was in an awful hurry to stop it.

That’s the corruption of the sport.. it happens in every countries especially Britain and US.
The referee will give the benefit of the doubt only to the A side fighters.

The ref did count fast after picking up the count so I can see why some might feel hard done by. But the rules say it's a 10 count, not 10 seconds so technically within the rules even if it seems unfair.

Impossible to know if Huni could have continued. But then that's the issue isn't it, there's some doubt and that never a good way to end a fight, we want conclusive outcomes.

People get up in arms about 10 counts but the referee can wave it off at any time if he sees the fighter can't safely continue

In live, I thought it was a little too quick.
But when I rewatched it, I find that it was a perfect ten seconds count.
Huni was knocked down while 1min28 remained in the round. The fight was stopped around 1min18.

    So the stoppage was legit.
