    You're absolutely right.

Golovkin's the A side yet he's giving a square 50-50 deal to Ward while doing the heavy lifting viewer wise.

"“GGG is now clearly the ‘A’ side yet Ward still would want to dictate terms, which makes no sense,” Loeffler said. “GGG would fight Ward on a 50-50 basis, the best 160-pounder versus the best 168-pounder (at) 164 (and) a 50-50 split on all proceeds. But it seems like Ward needs more tune-up fights.”"

^ Classic Ward, all the way.

But loefller on behalf of Golovkin said GGG is the better ticket seller so we will offer him a 50/50 at 164.

A year later Sanchez says we never asked for a 164 catchweight loool come on it's on public record.

I see GGGphobia causes paranoia right now.
    Lol

Isnt Trump, the Russian double agent, behind HBO's forcing of Ward out of the 168 division ? You guys should look into this.
Julian Assange is probably also after Andre lol

The only one that's crying is Ward.

    From the Scene:

"According to Hunter, frustrations with HBO and the boxing public have left Ward sour on the business, listing the media reactions in the aftermath of his last fight as the final straw. "Why wouldn't he retire?" Hunter asked."

Basically Ward is crying like a baby because both the media and the fans saw the robbery for what it was, and now it's sulking time. He wants everybody to lick his ass or baby won't play anymore.

    That's fine.

Retire, take a hike. We all saw Kovalev beat you the first time, and we know that he'll finish the job in a rematch.

Anyone that thinks Golovkin and Ward had any recent intentions of fighting each other need to pull their head out of their ass, offense intended.

Ward vs Kovalev was always the plan.

Golovkin unifying middle was always the plan.

All we get is releases from both sides of unofficial behind the scenes banter while both men were already booked up. Don't be a tool.

Ward himself said smw had become too difficult to make
He should try to prove the "haters" wrong.
Not go retire because his feelings are hurt. Especially not if he's contractually bound to a rematch

It wouldnt surprise me if they forced Ward to fight Kovalev just for, wait for it.... financial reasons (gasp!)

Ward doesnt do good numbers and they probably only wanted to give him a date if he was gonna do a big fight. They also recently did that to Pac of all people, so its hardly just about Ward or Golovkin.

Team Ward always with the victim mentality.

Also funny how hes been saying for quite awhile now how hard it is to make 168, and how even making 175 isnt easy.

12-0 white wash? No real boxing fan could see a fight between two proven champions being a 12-0 white wash I don't know where you got that from.

Kovalev was the favourite when the fight was first made and then the odds shifted to Ward slightly after the Chilemba fight.

How am I crying? Kovalev has been the one crying for months now Ward is starting to cry. Ward needs to rematch him to erase any doubt or accept people will cast aspersions on that win forever.

again kirk...they gave him 2 dates before kovalev....just to get kovalev....one would think they could have gotten him in 2016 for a 1 fight deal against ggg which prob would have done a similar number if not better....

again...ill ask you...give me logical reason why ward would weigh in at 171 for a 175lb fight against smith and let smith weigh in at 176....the only logical explanation I can come up with is he was keeping his weight between classes in the event golovkin was hip to a fight with him at 168

of course...long run it would be good for hbo to get ward/kova and eventually ggg/canelo....the problem is they still haven't gotten that canelo/ggg and who knows if/when that will happen....canelo still does well for hbo...its not like they are going to force him into anything

the intention was there on wards part no question....go back and look at what happened at the ward/smith weigh in...

ward comes in at 171 for a 175 lb fight...allows smith to come in a pound over.......can you give me a logical reason why a guy having trouble making 168 is coming in at 171?

after the smith fight ward and his people contacted k2....they were rebuffed
