hahaha its all the same to me, hispanic he transformed Danny in a good way and changed him from a crude slugger to a counter puncher Hyder has unravelled some of that but i dont think its ALL his fault. Danny is a limited fighter and always has been. Tarver simply had his number.
What i dont get is he pissed and moaned blaming fenech for not spending enuf time with him, ala Tyson etc, just a jellouse brat imo.. so he dumps fenech gets Salas only to get rid of Salas and come back with Hyder? Hyders no better than Fenech, infact i think Fenechs a bit better lol
salas was unavalaible when he came out of retirement , if he was available i think he would have had him back immediately, salas was the best thing that ever happenned to him imo
Hyder wasn't the problem. Green could've had Manny Steward & Ang Dundee in his corner together the other night, and he still would have lost to Tarver.
Salas had a choice - Gamboa & other top Cubans with Olympic Medals alongside Ahmet Oner or come back & just train Danny Green.
He would've still lost but I think Green needs to drop Hyder anyway. He gets so unsettled when **** starts hitting the fan with all the slapping and yelling in the corner. Needs to chill the **** out.
Look man you can't make a silk purse out of a sows ear all you blokes posting Danny will never have the ability to best a TOP draw fighter are correct , bloody hell he just got tuned up badly by Antonio ****ing Tarver for Christ sake now I like Danny so I'm going to throw him a life jacket here and say "if he is determine to continue I think he should contact Lord Enzo Calzaghe MBE , CBE , OBE "
Some of Green's best performances were when Salas trained him. After Green's retirement Salas moved on. Hyder is not in Salas' league. It may not have change the result , but was certainly a factor.
All this talk of tarver the killer and that he would always be too much for green is complete ****ing rubbish. green was woeful yes, but tarver did **** all. It wasnt tarvers relentless unyielding pressure that beat danny because that was nonexistant. No it was greens shithouse gameplan which consisted of backing up to the ropes and passively absorbing whatever tarver got brave enough to throw. instead he should have fought his natural fight and gone out to bully the guy. EVERY time green came forward and fought the way he should the fight got competitive again and thats a FACT. yes tarver won, yes he was the better man on the night but he was the only one doing any fighting ffs!
dunno what the real gameplan was so cant comment. But i think green did try to engage initially and was stung commin in and that was early days in the fight. getting dropped twice, early whilst commin in pretty much spells "this aint working". it's becoming cliche but it seems like green really does have trouble with the lefties
