Top 10!:patsch For beating a Mosley who is almost 40?! Floyd will love you. You give way too much credit for the trainers.

Actually , when Marciano fought Walcott (second fight) Ezzard Charles, Roland Lastarza, and Archie Moore, they were all the rated number one contenders at the time.
Corrales, Hatton and Castillio are better than Charles , Walcott and Moore? Archie Moore is the all time holder for most knockouts in a career.
These guys were still fighting at a high level even though they were older.
Corrales, Hatton and Castillio won't be remembered 50 years from now like Rocky's opponents were.

Exactly, if he Ko's the he is sure top 30, but if he wins by SD or decision he will be top 50.

He will not rank in the top 10 as those 3 are good to great fighters, but men Floyd was supposed to beat. In order for Floyd to get into the top 10, he'd have to beat thowe guys along with beating a guy like PW at 154. Then Floyd would get my vote.

if i were floyd, assuming that i beat those 3 fighters, i will push myself to the limit, by fighting PW. ****, that would be great if he beats paul, and i'll be more than happy to witness such great achievement. if he loses, there's no shame. i think he really has good chance.

I think he'd prob be around 20 for me.

He's currently around 35-40 on mine but much of that is due to him being so talented and not really his resume. The Pac and Mosley wins (presuming Mosley is still looking good), would rank high on his best wins.

Of course the manner of these victories is important as well (see Castillo I).

If he beats JMM, Pac and then Mosley he is top 10 ATG arguably, if after that he then moves up and takes a middleweight strap there will be NO denying his top 5 - 10 status.

Mayweather will never get my respect, not that he needs it

I have more respect for less talented fighters that put it on the line even if they lose.

If he beat those three and Cotto, and Paul Williams then he would be top two possibly number one for me. Beating Paul Williams would be the most impressive thing for him to do in my mind.

I can't believe how hard it is for fighters of our era to get recognition. He beats Mosley, JMM and Pacquiao and barely makes the top 40 !?!?!?! With guys with 10 defeats on their record in front of him ?
